On Windows CE devices, switching to tasks and ending tasks is a very tedious process. You must wade through layers of menus only to find a very basic GUI that will allow you to switch to and terminate tasks. CE Task Manager provides a view of running tasks and process with a look and feel similar to the Windows NT/2000 task manager. CE Task Manager lives as a traffic light icon in the Windows CE System Tray where it is only a tap away. Of course, if you don't want it in the system tray you can always get to it from the start menu. The green light at the top of the screen will switch to the selected application. The red light will terminate the selected application or process.
