Off-site Closets

Off Site closets are (locking) closets which are manned by an employee at the location. The toy coordinator makes scheduled visits (and is also available if extra visits are needed) to update, clean, and replace toys. The evaluation forms are collected and combined for reports and records.

One of these closets is located at Rest (where children are frequently transients so toys are given away rather than checked out). A new closet location opened August 5, 1996 at The Exchange Club. The Latino community has requested a closet for their use, if possible, in the fall.

Cost of these closets vary as they are customized to fit the location. We are limited to providing these closets full of toys only by funding constraints.
